Bill Christianson

Bill is a public finance professional with 16 years' experience in finance and policy roles in local government. He was elected as Comptroller for the City of Milwaukee, Wisconsin in April 2024, overseeing the City's accounting, financial reporting, auditing, public debt, systems support and payroll functions. Prior to serving as Comptroller, Bill served in the City of Milwaukee's Budget and Management Division for 12 years and as Deputy Comptroller for two years. Bill is a Certified Public Finance Officer (CPFO) and was published in Government Finance Review in June 2025 ("Estimation Unknown").
