Irfan Bora currently serves as the Program Director of the Rutgers Master’s Program in Governmental Accounting and is on the faculty of the Department of Accounting and Information Systems at the Rutgers Business School. The Online Master’s in Governmental Accounting is the nation’s only graduate program specializing in governmental accounting, auditing, public financial management, and information systems. Professor Bora teaches courses in Governmental Accounting and Auditing and in the area of Design and Development of Information Systems. Prior to his current position at Rutgers, he served as the Director of Finance & Management and Chief Financial Officer of the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission (NJMC). His primary responsibilities included overseeing the Commission’s financial operations, including its investment and treasury management programs, and directing the Commission’s information systems area.
