Bryan Archer, CPA
Chief Financial Officer, City of Arvada, Colorado

Bryan Archer was appointed as the Director of Finance/Chief Financial Officer for the City of Arvada in January 2014. He has been employed by the City since 1996 and has served in many roles including Budget Analyst, Accounting Manager and Controller. He oversees all areas of finance including treasury, budget, cash, investments, accounting and purchasing. Prior to his employment with the City, Mr. Archer worked in public accounting. He is a native of the Denver metropolitan area, has been a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 1998 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
Bryan is a member of the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) and is currently the President of the Colorado Government Finance Officers Association (CGFOA). He serves as the large city representative for the Colorado Municipal League (CML) on the Legislative Sales and Use Tax Task Force, is President of the Colorado Statewide Investment Pool (CSIP) board, and is the Interim Executive Director of the Jefferson Parkway Public Highway Authority (JPPHA)
Bryan is married and has two daughters 21 and 17. The 21 year old attends NYU and is a dance performance major in the Tisch School of the Arts, the 17 year old attends Pomona High School and is a future starving artist. He is a sports junky, enjoys softball, golf, fishing, camping and spending time outdoors.
