Abbey Chapman

Abbey Chapman is the Budget Officer for the City of Rock Hill, South Carolina. She began her career with the City as an intern in the Finance Department and was hired full-time after earning her Bachelor of Business Administration. Since then, she has advanced from Financial Analyst to Senior Financial Analyst and now serves as Budget Officer. In 2023, Abbey earned her Master of Business Administration and is currently awaiting licensure as a Certified Public Accountant.

Abbey serves as Chair of the Young Professionals Network for the Government Finance Officers Association and is involved with conference committees for the South Carolina GFOA. She has been active in the Young Professionals Network for two years and is passionate about attracting young professionals to the government finance field.
