Steffanie Dorn

Steffanie Dorn is the Deputy County Manager of Finance and has served with Greenwood County, South Carolina since December 2020. Prior to that she served as the City of Greenwood’s finance director for over 21 years. In her role Steffanie serves in the Chief Financial Officer role and responsibilities include preparation of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR), annual budgets for multiple funds, management of the tax billing and collection along with supervision of the collection and disbursement of all funds. She earned the designation of Certified Public Finance Officer in the Winter of 2017 from the Government Finance Officers Association. Steffanie currently serves in a leadership role for the Small Government Forum Advisory Committee with GFOA.  Additionally, she serves as a volunteer trainer for a variety of GFOA accounting and financial reporting classes and has presented at various GFOA conferences.
