Doug Honma-Crane

Doug Honma-Crane is a fiscal policy analyst with the City of Seattle's Fiscal Policy and Partnerships Team in the City Finance Division of the Department of Finance and Administrative Services. On behalf of the City Finance Director, he convenes an interdepartmental fiscal recovery team that coordinates the management of COVID-19 pandemic-related federal funds—including ARPA—and also includes the City Budget Office and the Office of Emergency Management. He additionally manages the development and publication of several financial monitoring reports and provides support for the administration of the City's debt.

Prior to joining the City of Seattle, Doug was a financial analyst for the cities of Kirkland and Redmond, Washington, a staffer for the Washington State House of Representatives, and has served in many capacities for several community-based nonprofit organizations. He has a master's degree in public administration from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School with a focus in state and local government finance, and a certificate in adaptive community leadership from Saybrook University.
