Timothy Ewell serves as Chief Assistant County Administrator in Contra Costa County, California. In that capacity, he is responsible for a variety of countywide budget & policy issues, including management of the County’s debt financing program. Prior to that, he served Senior Deputy County Administrator for seven years and as a Senior Management Analyst in the Contra Costa County Administrator’s Office working primarily in budget development and analysis. He has been with Contra Costa County for 13 years.
Timothy holds both Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science degrees, each with concentration in Finance, from California State University, East Bay. He is a member of the Association of Government Accountants and holds the Association’s Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) designation. He is also a member of the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) and serves as Vice Chair of its Committee on Governmental Debt Management.
