Cheri Freese has served as Director of Finance for the City of Ridgecrest, California since 2018. In this position, she provides leadership to the Finance department and serves as the controller and treasurer for the City. She is responsible for the development, implementation and supervision of the accounting, budgeting, financial planning and data processing activities of the Finance Department.

Cheri received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and her Master of Business Administration in Management from California Coast University.
