Tanya Garost is the City Manager, City of Martensville, Saskatchewan. With 20-years in local government finance, her past positions include Chief Administrative Officer for the District of Lake Country, Chief Financial Officer for the District of Lake Country, GM of Finance and Corporate Services for the City of West Kelowna, Director of Finance for the Thompson Nicola Regional District and Revenue Manager for the City of Kamloops.  Tanya is a Past President of the Government Finance Officers of British Columbia and started with GFOA by sitting on the Canada standing committee on Canadian Issues in 2017 and then joining the Executive Board in 2020.
