Ms. Hamilton founded Sycamore Advisors in 2004 and has over 30 years’ experience in investment banking and finance, including time on Wall Street at Salomon Brothers and Goldman Sachs. She serves as lead advisor for a number of large issuers, including the Indianapolis Local Public Improvement Bond Bank, the State of Illinois, the Illinois Finance Authority, the Regional Transportation Authority of Chicago, the Indianapolis Airport Authority and the City of Chicago. Unique among smaller FA firms, Sycamore's transactions have been nominated for "Deal of the Year" 3 times. Ms. Hamilton was named a "TrailBlazer" in 2019. Previously, as Director of Public Finance for the State of Indiana for seven years, she managed the issuance of all debt financing for the State, oversaw the investment of the State’s pension funds and helped establish the first state level credit rating for Indiana and achieved two successive credit upgrades.
