Jodie Hartman is the Director of Finance for the City of Crystal Lake in Illinois.  Prior to serving Crystal Lake, Ms. Hartman was the Director of Finance for the Village of Lake Zurich, IL.  With over 20 years of local government finance experiences, she has had the privilege of helping communities grow stronger in their financial position.  Ms. Hartman has served her local chapter of IGFOA as committee members, committee chair, chapter board and executive board.  She currently serves on GFOA’s Economic Development and Capital Planning committee, enjoying work thoroughly in both areas.  In 2019, the Village of Lake Zurich received an innovation award from ICMA for developing a high quality, twenty year capital improvement plan, of which Ms. Hartman played a critical role in developing.  She is a graduate of Northern Illinois University, with both a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration as well as a CPA.
