Kim is a Senior Program Associate in the Technical Services Center. She performs technical reviews of state and local governments’ Annual Comprehensive Financial Reports for compliance towards earning the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting. Kim reviews all annual comprehensive financial reports including general-purpose governments, school districts, stand-alone enterprise funds, pension and other postemployment systems reports. She also reviews Popular Annual Financial Reports. Kim graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Master of Science in Accounting. Prior to joining the GFOA, Kim was a tax consultant at Illinois Tool Works.
