James L. Tatum III is an analyst in the City of Detroit’s Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Forecasting, and Economic Analysis Division. He earned his B.S. in political science from Eastern Michigan University, where he currently teaches and earned a Master of Public Administration from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. He has shared his expertise as both a consultant and an author, and he has been published in the Harvard Journal on Legislation, Business & Bankruptcy Law Journal, The Urban Lawyer, Syracuse Law Review, Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal, and Public Finance and Management.
