Jamie Roberson, CGFO

Jamie Roberson is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Finance for the Honorable Clerk Timmann at the Martin County Clerk of Court & Comptroller’s office.  

In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the collection, accounts, and disbursement of courts, recording, and clerk technology. She is now also responsible for Human Resources and Compliance & Customer Care for the Clerk.  In addition, to the court function finance and accounting she oversees the finance and accounting for the Board of County Commissioners and the Supervisor or Elections in the County.  

Mrs. Roberson has a 20+ years of governmental accounting experience.  She was previously employed as the Director of Finance and Accounting for the Osceola County Clerk, the Finance Director for the City of Apopka and the Chief Financial Officer for the Osceola County Property Appraiser’s Office in Kissimmee, Florida.  As the Chief Financial Officer, she was responsible for the Accounting, Budget, Payroll, and assisted with the Human Resources functions within the office.  

Mrs. Roberson graduated from the University of South Florida, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the USF School of Accountancy.  Mrs. Roberson is a Certified Government Finance Officer (CGFO) and has been a member of the local, state, and national chapters of the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) since 2002.  She served as President of the Central Florida Local Chapter FGFOA for three years from 2011-2014 and is a past President of the Florida Government Finance Officers Association where she has served in many roles as an officer, director and committee chair for the last 12 years.  She is currently serving as the FGFOA Treasure Coast Chapter Immediate Past President.

Mrs. Roberson is a married mother of five who loves spending time with her family and friends.
