Mr. Johnson is currently serving as the Undersecretary for the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development. In this capacity, he is responsible for oversight of the Office of Management and Finance (OMF), which consists of several large, multidisciplinary staffs in the areas of Audit and Quality Control, Financial Services, Procurement, Management and Budget, Enterprise Support Services, and Human Resources. Prior to his current role as Undersecretary, he served as the Deputy Undersecretary over the past nine years (2014 - 2023) and prior to that, served as the Executive Budget Administrator for three years (2011-2014). He received his Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Southern University at New Orleans (1995), a Masters in Business Administration from the University of New Orleans (2002), and his Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center (1998).
