Marija Jukic is the Controller for the City of Austin, Texas where she oversees accounting and financial reporting, accounts payable, and payroll staff. She joined the City of Austin in 2010. Throughout her tenure, Marija worked in asset accounting and governmental accounting, and oversaw the accounts payable, enterprise accounting, grants accounting, and payroll functions before stepping into the Controller role in 2022. Marija is a Certified Public Accountant and earned both her BBA and master's degree in accounting from Texas State University.
