Karen Karwoski

Karen joined Simmons Bank as Senior Vice President in their Treasury Management Division in October 2016. With over 25 years of banking experience, she is responsible for aggressively developing new depository and treasury management fee income for the bank in the Missouri region for commercial, non-profit and government entities. Along with her sales territory responsibilities, Karen is instrumental in the development of the current and future treasury management product suite, creating specific Kodak sales training for Treasury Management Sales Consultants, as well as being an intrugual part of the M & A team for internal team members as well as external clients to ensure smooth product and system conversions.

Karen grew up in Niagara Falls, New York but has called St. Louis home for over 30 years.

Passionate about being an active member in the community, Karen has held numerous board positions for CREW St. Louis (Commercial Real Estate Women) and was President of the local chapter of 160 members from July 2014 – December 2015. She is the Treasurer of Books for STL Kids which is a non-profit whose mission is to stop illiteracy in underprivileged children and a board member for the St. Louis Community College Foundation. She is a current member of the American Financial Professionals Association (AFP), St. Louis Treasury Management Association (STLTMA), Governmental Finance Officers Association (GFOA) a member of the GOFA National Treasury and Investment Committee, Missouri Association of School Business Officials (MoASBO). CCIM and the Missouri Bankers Association.
