Kelsey Earle

Kelsey Earle serves as the Finance Director for the City of Auburn, Maine. Kelsey is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities of the department relating to accounting, audit, fiscal reporting, debt management, treasury functions, cash management, investments, real estate taxation and collection, risk management, and purchasing. Kelsey has been with the city since 2017, serving first as Deputy City Clerk, Executive Assistant to the City Manager, Deputy Director of Finance, and Director of Administrative Services, before settling into her current role as Finance Director. Kelsey has a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from the University of Southern Maine, and is a dedimus justice, and certified tax collector and treasurer. Kelsey currently serves on the Board of Directors with United Way of Androscoggin County, is a United Way of Androscoggin County Income Council member, an alumnus of the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Leadership Academy, an Uplift LA’s “Finest Under 40”- Best in Civic and Municipal Services honoree, a mentor with the Women’s Public Finance Network (WPFN), and a Finance Committee member for Promise Early Education. She is a member of GFOA, Maine GFOA, WPFN, and the Maine Municipal Tax Collector’s & Treasurer’s Association. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her two children, her family, and reading.
