Erin Kozanecki has worked in state and local government for 20 years. She was appointed as the Deputy County Administrator for Fauquier County, Virginia in June 2020. Erin began with the County in July 2010 as a Budget/Research Analyst, with a promotion to the County’s Director of the Office of Management and Budget in April 2013. Prior to that she worked for George Mason University’s Foundation in Fairfax, Virginia as the Senior Accountant for Financial Reporting. Erin received her Bachelor’s degree in Government and International Politics and Master’s degree in Public Administration from George Mason University. Erin participated in GFOA’s 2013 Advanced Government Finance Institute. She also serves on several social services boards for Fauquier County, including the Chair of the Birmingham Green Board.
