Ms. Larson has been the Chief Financial Officer at the City of Dubuque, Iowa since January 2023. Previously, she was the Director of Finance and Budget from March 2019 until January 2023, and she was the Budget Director from August 2006 until February 2019. She is responsible for directing and coordinating all financial activities, which includes the responsibility for financial planning, budgeting, accounting, and auditing, debt management, investment of public funds, revenue administration, accounts receivable, accounts payable, customer service and billing, purchasing, contracts, grants and payroll. She previously worked for Eide Bailly, LLP, in Dubuque where she planned, supervised, and completed government audits of Iowa cities and counties and prepared financial statements for those clients. Ms. Larson has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa.
