Tina Lausier
Director of Accounting, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin

Tina Lausier started with Milwaukee County in August 2012. Currently she is the Director of Accounting for Milwaukee County Comptroller’s Office and has served in that capacity since January 2022. In this role she oversees all of the accounting functions for the County including the annual audit and issuance of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR). Prior to that she served as the Fiscal Officer for the Milwaukee County Employees’ Retirement System since 2015. In that role she was responsible for the retirement system financial operations, including budgeting, investments, and actuarial services for the retirement system. Before joining Milwaukee County, Tina spent 14 years in management roles for a Long-term care organization, assisting Administrators and Business Managers understand and comply with accounting and billing regulations.
Tina was an adjunct professor for 16 years teaching accounting, audit, tax and business for Concordia University, DeVry University and Keller Graduate School of Management.
Tina holds a Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Accounting from Alverno College, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration as well as a Master’s Certificate in Accounting from Keller Graduate School of Management. Tina is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). Additionally, she is an active member of the Government Finance Officers Association's (GFOA) Committee on Retirement and Benefits Administration, and an active member of the Public Pension Financial Forum (P2F2) Hospitality Committee.
