Ryan Lawler is finance director for the Village of North Riverside in Illinois. Prior to that, he served as a senior manager for GFOA in the Research and Consulting Center.  He participated in research projects, consulting engagements, staffed GFOA's Committee on Governmental Debt Management and organized GFOA's debt management training materials for on-line and classroom course offerings.  He also worked with the City of Dallas, TX in several capacities prior to joining GFOA.
