Ms. Lisa Bradford
Controller, City of Fishers, Indiana

Lisa Bradford is the Controller for the City of Fishers, Indiana. The City Controller is the Chief Financial Officer for the City, the City Utilities, and the Tax Increment Financing Districts. As Controller, she is responsible for the collection and disbursement of all City funds, responsible for all financial reporting including the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR), responsible for providing financial advice and planning for the annual City budget of over $185 million, managing cash and liquidity along with investing City funds, overseeing and maintaining the internal control structure for the City, and issuing and administering a $750 million general obligation and revenue debt portfolio for the City.
Ms. Bradford has over 10 years experience in local government finance. She previously worked for a publicly traded national Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) in taxation, specializing in corporate and partnership federal and state tax. She is also a Certified Public Account (CPA).
Ms. Bradford is an active member of the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA), serving on the Economic Development and Capital Planning subcommittee, a board member for the Indiana section of Women in Public Finance, a member of the Indiana CPA society, and completed the GFOA Leadership Academy. She received her Bachelor's Degree from the Mitch Daniels School of Business at Purdue University, majoring in Accounting and Management.
