Josemaria "Chema" Macedo Carrillo

Josemaria is a consultant in GFOA's consulting practice, where he specializes in enhancing government business processes and assisting in the procurement of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from ITAM (Mexico) and a Master’s degree in Computational Analysis and Public Policy from the University of Chicago.

Before joining GFOA, Josemaria served as a lead product manager for Mexico City’s Government (ADIP), where he played a pivotal role in the modernization and digital transformation of government services.
