Molly Shellhorn

Molly is a senior research analyst for the Municipal Fixed Income Team at Nuveen Asset Management, responsible for conducting credit analysis and providing trade recommendations. She concentrates on tax-backed securities throughout the Midwest, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Molly is a past president of the Chicago Municipal Analysts Society and a current member of the Society of Municipal Analysts.

Molly started in the financial services industry in 2006 and joined Nuveen Asset Management in 2009. Previously, she worked as a municipal credit analyst at Moody’s Investors Service covering local governments with a focus on the Midwest region. Prior to this she worked in the Fairfax County Department of Management and Budget as a capital budget analyst.

Molly earned a B.A. from Saint Mary’s College, IN and an M.P.A. with a concentration in public finance from Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs.
