Kevin Orton

Kevin Orton serves as the Budget Officer for the City of Littleton, Colorado, overseeing all budgeting functions within the city. Prior to joining Littleton in June 2024, he spent seven years with the City of San Antonio, Texas, holding multiple roles within the Budget Office and City Manager's Office, including Assistant to the Budget Director, Special Projects Manager, and Budget & Management Analyst. His career also includes a few years in defense contracting supporting configuration management on U.S. Army simulation systems.

He holds a Master of Public Administration from Brigham Young University and is a Certified Public Finance Officer (CPFO). He also served on the GFOA Budget Award Criteria Advisory Committee helping provide input on the new GFOA Budget Presentation award.
