Andrea Ringer is a Budget Analyst with the City of Detroit’s Office of Budget, where she facilitates development of the budget for several City departments. Andrea also helps coordinate public engagement efforts for the City’s budget, including organizing public meetings and creating budget educational materials. Andrea is passionate about building trust in government through better budget outreach and listening to residents’ priorities for the budget. Andrea has worked as a fellow for special projects for several cities, including South Bend, Indiana and Rochester, New York. Andrea holds a bachelor’s in economics from the University of Notre Dame and a master’s in public policy from Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government.
