Sam specializes in helping Egg clients design products and services that change behavior and drive growth. He has 20 years of brand strategy and innovation experience, including several years at PepsiCo on the brand and innovation teams for Gatorade, Quaker and the Global Nutrition Group. Sam has extensive innovation experience from strategy and process/structure development to blue sky exploration and commercialization. He has helped fuel innovation within consumer packaged goods, quick service restaurants, financial services and healthcare.
Sam is a passionate evangelist of behavioral science and has been trained in Behavior Design by Dr. BJ Fogg at Stanford University. Sam has served on the leadership team of the Action Design Network, a global non-profit that unites Behavioral Economics academics, practitioners and designers dedicated to the art and science of designing products and experiences that help people take action in their lives.
Sam earned a BA in Journalism from Washington and Lee University and an MBA in Marketing and Strategy from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
