Susan Knight

Susan Knight has dedicated thirty-six years of her career to the City of Coral Springs.  The initial thirty years were devoted to the Parks & Recreation department, where she held various roles ranging from Lifeguard to Senior Center Manager.  In 2019, she seized the opportunity to transition into the Human Resources Department within the Community Relations division.  A further significant opportunity arose in July 2022 when she was appointed as the Safety, Health and Wellness Program Manager, a role that aligns perfectly with her master's degree in Mental Health Counseling.  The Safety, Health and Wellness Program Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of wellness, which encompass physical, intellectual, emotional, spiritual, environmental, financial, occupational, and social dimensions. Together with her small team, she develops programs and educational initiatives that address these eight areas for all employees.  Mental health is her passion, and she is eager to present the behavioral health access program (BHAP) to you today.
