Tyler Bahr

Tyler Bahr serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the Salt Lake City Public Library. In this role, he oversees a $50 million annual budget as well as capital planning, procurement, risk management, and payroll functions. He collaborates with leaders and staff across the organization to maximize the value returned on the community’s investment in the Library. He is passionate about the potential for life altering impact in social and educational endeavors. He graduated from Brigham Young University with bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and French, and from the University of Utah with a master’s degree in Public Administration. He is also a certified Black Belt in Disruptive Lean Six Sigma. Outside of work, Tyler enjoys boating and spending time with his wife Missy - who outshines him, their five kids, and two dogs - Magneto and Teddy.
