Cameron Van Noy is a Certified Public Accountant currently serving as the Financial Reporting Manger in the Travis County Auditor’s Office, a position he has held for 2 years. Responsibilities include: preparation of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) and Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR), implementing new guidance promulgated by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board, managing the external audit of the County, and working as part of the County-wide team on all bond issuances. Cameron has a BA in Business Economics with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is a licensed CPA in the state of Texas and serves on the GFOA’s Standing Committee on Accounting, Auditing and Financial Reporting (CAAFR) and on the GFOA’s special review committee for the CAFR. In addition, Cameron has experience in audit, tax, and private sector accounting in previous roles at local and regional accounting firms and as the Accounting Manager at a consumer products company.
