Will Mixon serves as a Business Process Consultant in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer for the City of Austin. He has worked in public finance and budgeting since 2015 at both the state and local level including for the City of Austin, the State of Louisiana, the City of Grand Prairie, Texas, and the City of Kilgore, Texas. Will has been the budget lead for the Austin Police Department and has been involved in the City of Austin’s Reimagining Public Safety initiative. Will obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and his Master’s in Political Science – Legislative Studies from the University of Texas at Dallas.
