Zhikuan Hu (Kuan) is a senior manager in GFOA's Technical Services Center (TSC). She performs reviews of annual comprehensive financial reports of all types of governments, and is one of the final reviewers in the Certificate Program. Kuan also answers technical inquiries from local governments. Kuan holds a Master of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho, and a Master of Science degree in Accounting from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. Before joining GFOA, Kuan worked as an editor at Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan, China, and as a part-time instructor in Teaching English as a Second Language at Morton College in Cicero, Illinois.
