Why did you want to become a CPFO?
I wanted to become a CPFO to both strengthen and solidify my knowledge of fiscal management within government organizations.
What did you learn going through the process?
I not only reinforced my accounting and financial reporting knowledge, but I was given the opportunity to deepen my knowledge of treasury and debt management.
How has becoming a CPFO made an impact on you in your profession or how do you hope it will make an impact?
The CPFO designation increased my confidence in being able to lead financial planning and management effectively.
What would you say to others thinking about becoming a CPFO?
There is no better time to pursue the designation than the present!
