GFOA’s Women’s Public Finance Network (WPFN) is focusing on the resilient woman public finance officer this year. Woman face competing demands from the various personal and professional roles we have. Our work as public finance officers also requires a balance between scarce resources to fund community needs. During this session, Dr. Robin White, Executive Director for Research of the Global Resilience Institute at Northeastern University, will share insights on resiliency as a woman leader and a woman working in government. This session will include interactive questions and discussions from Dr. White, WPFN President Lori Thomas, and participants.
