Jeanette Duque-Smith

“Assistant Director of Accounting Jeanette Duque‑Smith stands out for her remarkable work ethic and expertise,” says Director of Accounting Shelly Hughes. With nearly twenty years of experience, Jeanette has contributed to the fiscal health of the Clark County School District since high school, bringing institutional knowledge to every role. Her work with external auditors has consistently led to clean audit opinions, and she is known for implementing new GASB standards ahead of schedule. Jeanette focuses on protecting district assets and maximizing resources for student success. The individuals she works with recognize her for being skilled, professional, and committed to helping others. Jeanette gives back to the community by volunteering with youth sports and supporting local elementary schools.
