Job Description

Position Summary

The City of Elmhurst is seeking a motivated and experienced professional to lead our Finance Department! This position will be responsible for directing, managing, and coordinating fiscal services of the City. A significant and exciting project on the horizon for the City of Elmhurst is the implementation of a new enterprise resources planning (ERP) software system! This project is expected to commence in spring of 2022. Qualifications/Requirements

A Master’s degree in finance, accounting, public administration, or a field related to work is preferred. Seven years of professional experience in fiscal operations, at least two of which were at a managerial level; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience as determined by Human Resources. A valid driver’s license is required. Certified Professional Finance Officer (CPFO) designation is a plus.

This position comes with a competitive compensation package, with an expected starting salary of $160,000 dependent upon qualifications and experience.
