Accountant

JOB SUMMARY:

To perform professional accounting, analysis, and maintenance of budget, revenues, expenditures, assets, liabilities, fund equities, and other financial records; to conduct audits and perform special projects; to assist in budget preparation and revenue estimates; and to perform related work as required. The current vacancy is within the Revenue and Recovery section of the Finance Department that oversees accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, payment processing, delinquency management, and coordination of collection and recovery efforts.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college with major course work in accounting, finance, or related field and one year of responsible accounting experience, preferably with a government agency.
