The Orange County Fire Authority is seeking an exceptional leader to join its Business Services Department. The Assistant Chief of Business Services serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in support of one of the largest and most innovative fire service agencies in California.

The role offers the opportunity to lead a 47-member team that oversees: finance, procurement, clerk administration, and legislative affairs.

The Assistant Chief of Business Services serves as a member of the Executive Management Team in establishing strategic goals, service level priorities, department policies and procedures; develops, reviews, administers budget and approves major operating expenditures; advises the Board of Directors and executive management on legislative matters; interfaces with elected and appointed officials, civic groups, city and county professionals, associations and other parties on behalf of the Authority.

Candidates with experience as: CFO, Finance Director/Manager, City Manager, Deputy City Manager, or related experiences are encouraged to apply.
