Approximate Monthly Salary: $9,570.00 - $10,551.36
There is an additional 3.35% Management Differential which is added to the posted salary for this class.

Under general direction, plans, organizes, directs, supervises, and coordinates the activities and operations of the County-wide internal audit function including participation in a wide variety of professional audit and attest duties for County departments, special districts, vendors, contractors and other parties that do business with the County of Sacramento.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor’s degree, or higher, from an accredited college or university in Accounting or Business Administration with a concentration in Accountancy; AND Four years of full-time, paid audit experience, one year of which must have included leading, directing and/or supervising professional auditors engaged in public and/or government auditing work.

Note: Possession of a current valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license from the State of California Board of Accountancy may substitute for the required Bachelor’s degree.
