BWP’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) plays a vitally important, strategic role for the utility. As a key member of the senior leadership team, the CFO contributes to the overall direction and success of the entire organization. The CFO’s primary responsibilities are to plan and oversee access to capital markets and financial systems and manage employees in the Accounting/Financial Planning/Support, Fleet, and Warehouse divisions. The ideal candidate is a strategic thought leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys developing staff to the next level. They understand the challenges facing utilities and champion creative solutions for addressing them. They communicate clearly and effortlessly. They improve business processes and streamline operations. They have experience managing bond issuances. Sample qualifying experience includes a Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration, 6 years of administrative experience, and 3 years leading a major division of a governmental business or utility. Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement strategies is a plus.
Salary: $177,171-$232,980/year, DOQ + excellent benefits.
