The Deputy Director supports the management and implementation of Harris County's $2.1 billion expenditure budget. The Deputy Director manages of team of portfolio directors, managers, and analysts. They support the Office of Management and Budget's mission and helps to ensure these strategies are in alignment with the County's strategic initiatives, goals, and desired outcomes. The position is accountable for reviewing, and approving budget requests through the County's budget process, set out by Commissioners' Court. The position is also responsible for the development of the County's budget book.
