Minimum Qualifications
- 4 years progressively responsible professional accounting & finance exp.
- 2 years of supervisory and admin experience
- Bachelor degree from accredited college/university
- Degree in business administration, accounting, public administration or related
Preferences
- Experience with municipal budgeting, long term fiscal forecasting
- Public agency experience highly desireable
- Possession/maintennace of CPA license and/or CGFO cert
Summary
The City seeks a finance & accounting professional who is kind, has strong interpersonal skills, and experience with municipal budgeting, long term fiscal forecasting, & finances. Requires the equivalent of 4 years of progressively responsible professional accounting & finance experience, incl. 2 years of supervisory & admin. experience, graduation from an accredited college/university w/ a bachelor's degree in bus. admin., accounting, public admin., or related field. Public agency experience is highly desirable; possession & maintenance of a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license and/or a Certified Government Finance Officer (CGFO) certificate are desirable.
The annual salary is $170,957 - $213,696, DOQ; a 4% salary increase will occur in July 2026. The City offers an outstanding benefit package.
