Investment Manager

The League of Minnesota Cities is seeking an experienced Investment Manager to support the League and the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust (LMCIT). This role leads specialized financial and investment functions that help ensure the long‑term stability and performance of our insurance and investment programs.


The Investment Manager is responsible for overseeing investment activities, ensuring compliance with applicable policies and standards, and contributing to financial reporting and analysis for multiple portfolios. The position also provides advanced financial modeling and analysis to support surplus and reserve management, including evaluating adequacy and sustainability.


We are looking for someone who brings strong technical expertise in governmental and insurance‑related investment practices, sound independent judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
