This position manages, directs and coordinates the activities of the Administrative Services Division including supervisory authority over Supervising Senior PW Analysts, PW Analysts, the PW Payroll Team, and Administrative staff. Primary responsibility includes the development, implementation, and management of the Public Works budget to meet County and Department Strategic Goals and Objectives. This position provides financial analysis, planning, reporting and management advisory services for a budget of roughly $195 million, comprised of eight diverse divisions and nine major funds. It ensures compliance with Oregon Budget Law, Oregon Revised Statutes and Countywide guidelines. This position plans, organizes, and manages the budget and financial systems and the programs that support those systems for the department; performs highly complex and technical analyses, financial projections and forecasts; manages the department’s financial systems; and works with all divisions within the department, as well as the County Administrator, Board of County Commissioners, County Budget and Planning, Central Finance and other departments. Finally, it oversees department and division budget presentations to the County Administrator and Budget Committee.
