Senior Accountant - Enterprise Utility

The City of Fargo, ND is excited to announce we are seeking a Senior Accountant to work with our Enterprise Utility.

The Senior Accountant – Enterprise Utility performs responsible, professional accounting and analytical duties under the general direction of the Finance Manager and works closely with the Utility Department Heads. This position will collaborate regarding funding sources, prepare applications for loan and/or grants, work with consultants, assist with management of budget, and other tasks.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business administration and a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in accounting; or any such combination or education, experience, and training. Municipal government experience preferred.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Salary starting at $76,357; along with an excellent benefit package to include a pension plan.
