Short-Term Finance Support Opportunity in the CNMI

We’re looking for a seasoned government finance professional—someone with state, territorial, or federal experience in U.S. accounting operations or Single Audit preparation—to support the CNMI Department of Finance over the next several months. This is a short-term, project-based role based intermittently in Saipan, CNMI, with support from a team of professionals who have supported the government for many years.

WHAT WE'RE HOPING TO FIND:

• An experienced finance professional comfortable working inside a government finance office.
• Experience with bank reconciliations, AR/AP cleanup, audit schedules, and responding to external auditors.
• Familiarity with Single Audit requirements and federal program documentation.
• Comfort working with or learning a modern FMIS (CNMI uses Tyler Munis) and helping staff strengthen processes and controls.
• Willingness to travel to Saipan for multi-week periods between now and early spring.
