On February 26, GFOA joined the American Public Power Association (APPA), The National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA), the National Association of Counties (NACo), the National League of Cities (NLC), and the National Special Districts Coalition in comments responding to IRS Notice 2024-9, the Statutory Exceptions to Phaseout Reducing Elective Payment Amounts for Applicable Entities if Domestic Content Requirements are Not Satisfied.
