Laura Allen, CPFO, Town Manager, Berwyn Heights, Maryland, was elected as the 2022–2023 president-elect of the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) during its 116th Annual Conference in Austin, Texas.

Her focus is on expanding resources provided to GFOA members so they can continue to effectively serve their communities and meet their professional goals as they adapt to change.
