Mentorship Opportunity Through Local Government Hispanic Network (LGHN)

GFOA is looking for interested mentors and mentees to participate in LGHN’s popular Madrinas y Padrinas mentorship program. This program provides both networking and professional development opportunities for GFOA members as part of GFOA’s strategic partnership with LGHN.  Participation is free to GFOA members and participants do not need to have membership in LGHN.

If you are interested in joining the program, simply complete the mentor or mentee questionnaire at the links below by November 24, 2025.

We will pair mentors and mentees based on shared interests.  The program will begin in Mid December.

LGHN serves as a bridge between professional managers and communities to create programs and services to address issues critical to the Hispanic/Latino population and improve overall quality of life. GFOA is proud to partner with LGHN in providing educational sessions, networking opportunities, and enhanced members benefits for our members.  For more information on Madrinas y Padrinas mentorship program or GFOA’s partnership with LGHN, please contact Mike Mucha.
